Grande Prairie welcomes a large number of newcomers from varying backgrounds each quarter. Below are some organizations that promote connections within community, language instruction and cultural integration.
Grande Prairie Centre for Newcomers
The GPCN provides a variety of free programs and services that stand to aide new immigrants. These programs promote meaningful integration into the community, while celebrating the wide range of cultural backgrounds that exist within Grande Prairie. They provide service in English and French.

ACFA
(Association Canadienne-Française de L'Alberta) - Grande Prairie
As the Grande Prairie charter of the Canadian-French Association of Alberta, this organization aims to provide community-wide resources and for French-speaking newcomers to the city.
