Nigerians In Grande Prairie Association

This cultural group houses a growing community of Nigerians living in Grande Prairie with the common goal of promoting deep rooted cultures, while supporting newcomers and residents.

The association was developed to facilitate togetherness between those of Caribbean descent residing around Grande Prairie, while exposing the city to this rich culture.

This association was established to promote Chinese cultural awareness in Grande Prairie as well as to support and welcome new members of the Chinese community.

Established in 1965, the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre has existed to administer and implement programs to meet the needs of both new and resident Indigenous people in the region, while bridging the cultural gap between the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
